1. How durable are RUOSH shoes?
The durability of RUOSH shoes depends on usage and maintenance. To increase longevity, we recommend:
• Alternating shoes on different days
• Using a shoe horn when wearing them
• Storing them properly after use
2. What kind of leather do you use?
RUOSH shoes are made using hand-selected genuine leather. Each style features a specific leather type and finish. For queries about a particular product, please contact us with the product name.
3. Do all RUOSH shoes have leather soles?
No. RUOSH shoes come with various sole materials, including:
• Leather
• PU (Polyurethane)
• TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
• EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)
• TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber)
4. Are leather soles suitable for everyone?
Yes, but they can feel firmer than other soles. If you're new to leather soles, wear them on alternate days for 5–7 uses to break them in comfortably.
5. How should I care for leather soles?
Leather soles are elegant but not slip-resistant and not water-friendly. Avoid wearing them on wet or slippery surfaces and let them dry naturally if they get damp.
6. Why did my shoes wrinkle after wearing them once?
Genuine leather naturally creases and wrinkles with use. This is normal and reflects the authenticity of the material.
7. The colour on my shoes seems to be fading. Why is that?
What may appear as fading is often natural weathering of the leather, especially where the shoe bends. This is common in shoes finished with hand-applied dyes and is a natural part of the leather aging process.
8. What is the purpose of using a shoe horn?
A shoe horn helps:
• Slip into your shoes easily
• Prevent the back of the shoe from bending or breaking
• Extend the life of the shoe structure
9. How can I reduce creases on leather shoes?
Inserting a shoe tree after each use (not sold by RUOSH) can help maintain the shape and reduce leather creasing by supporting the inner structure of the shoe.
10. Will rain damage my leather shoes?
Yes. Leather is sensitive to water. It’s best to avoid wearing leather shoes in the rain.
11. What should I do if my shoes get wet?
• Wipe off any excess water
• Stuff the shoes with newspaper or paper to absorb moisture
• Replace the paper until it comes out dry
• Let the shoes dry naturally in a well-ventilated area
• Do not use heaters or blow dryers to speed up the drying process
12. Do you offer repairs?

Yes.

17. I have a high instep. What kind of shoes should I choose?
